got a lb 20 that has the case cracked. the top opening at the front right corner where the injector bolts to and the bolt next to it in the middle. so it is like a piece that could come out of the case. I think it could be repaired but should it be ? don't think that it has ever been backfired so is a new case going to be any better?

Yes. Talk to Andy. You might switch to a lb22 case. Swap the parts over .

The reason we made the LB 21 was to improve the strength of the case in that area, and we ramped the opening, but we didn’t want to change the location of the injector, so in doing that we moved the rotors back in the case, so the frt bearing plate is different , but we could still make the LB 20 case if need be, the first LB-20’s we made Also did not have the upgraded rear bearing plate, that makes a big difference

Yes, the rear pocket was an addition we came upon after we made the first LB/20’s, it is worth 100+ HP

Andy why are rear bearing plates worth so much power. I’ve heard that every case needs a different rear plate in order to center the rotors perfectly?

The pocket in our rear plate helps the air move through the blower more efficiently, which in turn takes less power to turn the blower, hence more power, cooler air and more boost

    Andy,
Is it the bottom half of the rear plate with the bulge in it? Like where is says "LB22" on your profile pic?
