Down Nozzle Comparisons

Which Nozzle bodies is everyone using? We have played with Kinsler, Enderle & Waterman on the flow bench, just wondering what's everyone's take on atomization characteristics & flow rates of the different designs.

 

Is this a nitro or an alcohol setup? Have you thought about trying something like the Davenport ‘enforcer’ atomization nozzle? I am curious of your results as well, have you tried different nozzles from each? Some style nozzles will have a bigger or smaller hole through the nozzle depending on what your doing with the nozzle.

 

Anybody have a pic of the Enforcer nozzle mentioned above?

 

Says 50hp back to back dyno pulls, I assume these were designed for the hat, but I don’t see why you couldn’t use them in down nozzle location. I purchased one to flow on the bench but haven’t had to flow anything lately so I don’t know anything about the spray pattern yet.

Smoke and mirrors. Seen on a dyno. Not worth anything. Those were designed about 15 years ago according to the guy running the dyno.

 

We have seen a noticeable difference in the atomization just between the bodies with a smaller thru hole vs a larger hole. On the Enderle style bodies, the shorter ones seem to have a nicer spray pattern. The Kinslers are the most impressive we’ve played with but I’m certain there’s something better out there.
