Fuel Flow Sensor Question

    I am considering adding a fuel flow sensor to my engine. The question I have is, since there is a line from the Enderle K valve to the hat block and one to the port block, how does one sensor measure total flow into the engine?

    1 line through the flow meter, then t it off.

    Gotta picture?

    If you do that then both hat and port nozzles will get fuel all the time.

    The port check at the block controls the opening of the ports.

    You need a -10 to -8 Y-block. You run a -10 out of the BV for about 4 or 5 inches as straight as you can get it to avoid turbulence. Attach the -10 to the flow sensor being aware of the direction of flow arrow on the sensor then -10 out of the sensor for as long as you can make it to a -10 in Y block. Out of the Y block you run one -8 line to the hat distribution block and the other out put to the port poppet on the port distribution block. The lower output of the BV can still be used for a high speed leanout if required. If you buy the flow sensor from Racepak there is a hand scribed K-factor calibration number that has to be inserted into the Racepak Fuel Flow configuration file.

    Thanks guys. Mike I have an RPM Performance logger, I talked to Randy there, there is a calibration number on it also.
