Hemi intake manifold end seals....

    Whats the best seal/sealant combination to use that will seal the front and back of tge intake to the block? Thanks

    we use closed cell foam and silicone in the corners. It has worked for well on our roots and PSI blowers.

    Closed cell foam & weatherstrip adhesive.

    I purchased aluminum extrusion angle from the hardware store; adapted it to the seal surface on the block; to screw on below the seals and angle backup against the seals on the outside; never had a seal leak problem afterwords.

    We did the same thing after pushing some out during warm-ups at Richmond in 2015. Have not had any issues since. They are visible in this picture:

    If you have access to a mill, make a spacer that bolts to top edge of block. use countersink bolts and make it wide enough to put in an O-ring. No more foam

    ^^^^^^. That's exactly what I did and have never looked back. Thought I was the only one to try that.
