I was told 50hp on Brad Andersons Dyno, That was just the spray bar nothing else.

On Rage Fuel Systems inertia Dyno ( not a cheaper water brake style) his spray bar made over 100 hp at 4000 rpms up top ( above 8000rpms) it had dropped to 70 hp. So he advertisement is for 80 hp which was the average of the amount checked at 500 rpm increments. If you can't use 80 more hp and a cooler intake charge then don't need a spray bar. If you buy one you really need to send him your whole system so he can flow it and set it up to respond to the spray bar.

Mike built me a complete fuel system off of my existing one. We modified a few things but for the most part adding the spray bar will definitely change your fuel tune up. Like Jody said its best to send yor complete system to Mike so he can give you accurate flow numbers with the added spray bar. Rage Fuel Systems i chose them for a reason and it paid off.

Has anyone built a spraybar on a Enderle B&U injector?

Rage has done them, aluminum injector hats are easier than carbon. On a carbon hat it requires a brace or two inside the hat to support the spray bar, these have to be epoxied in place. An aluminum one will require them as well , they are attached a different way. Without the supports the pressure from the spray bar will try to bend the bar , coupled with tire shake.

You don't need all those supports if you use two vertical bars like in the Janis hat

On a standard 3 blade hat the bar is placed behind the butterflies in the horizontal plane. This wide width allows the use of more nozzles ( 24 in my case ) the greater number of nozzles allows a finer spray pattern , almost a fog , with the same fuel volume as was previously used with the standard hat nozzles. Less nozzles means larger orifices and less vaporization. Both will work i guess, this is the way Mike at Rage does it.

I have pictures looking into the hat with vertical bars during WOT and you can see the fuel being sprayed as a fog. I think both Mike Janis' and Adam Flamholc's performance shows that the vertical bars are working just fine. Not sure we would see a difference if they were horizontal or not. I think they are both performing real well.

So real world, what do these spray bars translate into in terms of mph or ET difference during a good clean run before versus after?..........

Now that's the million dollar question ain't it ? A spray bar is like any other part of your tuneup.... It varies car to car. Some peoples car will pick up and some won't . It won't be because it failed to produce more power, it will be because you failed to adjust the rest of the car to utilize it. Some people run their cars on the lean side of fast , and win races doing it. But maybe they burn up more shit in the process, the way Mike at Rage sets up a system is on the fat side of fast, the cars he sets up tend not to eat parts.... From my personal experience and observations at the track. My car is just as quick as any roots blown dragster (on methanol, not nitro) in the country and the hottest egt we ever see is around 950 deg , we put new plugs in for first round of qualifying and can typically run the same ones all weekend. The spray bar is part of the combo that allows me to do it.

Boost / intake temp dropped , throttle response improved. As far as et is concerned..... I'm like every other racer.... In addition to the spray bar I changed other things as well. Stator in Convertor, rear gear ratio and timing curve. But it was easy to tell that the car ran " happier" with the spray bar. It just seemed to not be as pissed off as it was before. I have a spare hat in the trailer.. Like the spray bar enough that it had one installed in a hat that I don't even run...... Just in case I need it

So has anyone tried this on a PSI screw yet? Where would the spray bar be located?....

Hmm. Looked at all the pics I could find. Don't see a spraybar hookup anywhere. Maybe you can show me better? whome@look.ca Thanks.

The inlet line is on the barrel valve side. Small and neat it goes in behind the butterflies so as not to disrupt the airflow any more than it has too. Also the incoming air flow directs the nozzle output

So I gather that not all of the hat fuel is going through the spray bar? Part through the spray bar and part through the normal case nozzles?

On the spray bar the Rage does... He leave a little fuel in the rear of the case to lube the ends of the rotors. However most of the fuel is passed through the spray bar.

Thanks Jody. Do you happen to know if the rear case fuel is on a check valve or just constant flow all the time together with the spray bar?
