Newby here.... Thanks for the add. Anyone using the ARC module with their power grid system? How does it work?

I have used it. It does work but for a fast car it is not quick enough to correct potential traction issues as there is a delay. If you work at it, you may be able to adjust to it. Most folks looking to control timing and traction have moved to the Davis Profiler as it can correct issues faster. It's a great unit however it is very costly. If you only need what the ARC module is intended for, just get the basic Profiler. That will cost you about $4k though vice the $500 that the MSD unit will cost. For the average Joe, the Profiler is a bit out of reach.

I like the arc module also. If nothing else it's a cheap way to log driveshaft data if the car doesn't have a racepak

Thanks guys. The wife's car isn't ultra fast but she has upgraded from a single dom pump gas 565. to the same engine, only blown, injected on alcohol and expect it to go a little harder now and she wants a safety net of sorts. This new BIA combo has instant throttle response and seems to be a real beast compared to the old carb combo. She's been plinking around on the street all season getting used to it and saving up for a tranny capable of handling the extra load. Now she wants to lean on it and see if it's bite is as bad as it's bark. Is this Davis unit a stand alone unit or compatible with the Grid system?
