Radar had a light rub with the wall at Havana last weekend....scratched up the outer beadlock ring on a M/T rear wheel...sanded and polished...looks pretty good....
We checked run out on a known good wheel and the inside was about .020".....and the inside of the wheel that was damaged was also around .025"....but the outside measured .080"-.100" (didn't use a dial indicator but was a little more than a 1/16" and less than 1/8")...seems like it was low in just one spot on the ring flange not all the way around...
Can this be straightened? There are a few local wheel repair companies but not sure they can repair a 16" x 16' wheel...
Pretty sure we could run this wheel if the balance was correct but we have spares so it's off the car for now...
Anyone know where to send this to be straightened?
Throw it in with my aluminum recycle items?
    Thanks ITA...

There various wheel repair shops throughout the nation that could probably fix it, I had Alloy Wheel Repair fix a bead lock that ran out over .095 and was straightened to within .010 run out, here's a link to their main site: http://www.awrswheelrepair.com/

hard to get them balanced when they have run out.

if they shake on the jackstands....they will shake on the track.

Well guys...I'm just about ready to recycle this wheel....cannot find anyone that wants to straighten it...any last thoughts before it gets melted down? I do realize that safety is #1 and do not want to run a wheel that has any damage.....this one is bent so slightly...just in one area about 4"-6"
