    The years fly by. Like a bad husband, I forgot about a major milestone!

    ITA was launched on June 26, 2001. The site's original name was InsideFMRacing.com, as TAD and TAFC was then known as Federal Mogul Dragster and Funny Car.

    Thanks so much for all of you who have made the site what it is!!!

    ITA was instrumental in fulfilling a lifelong dream for me. I joined in 2006 because as a frustrated fan, I needed to vent about Mark Albert's bad crash in Reading. I stayed on board as a fan for years, then it occurred to me that I might be able to actually do racing, if I just asked! Fred & Mark Tigges gave me a chance, and I haven't looked back, stricken with the disease...

    Thanks ITA for giving me the opportunity to do something I really love!

    Congrats on the 15 years. When you mentioned InsideFMRacing it reminded me of a story. My first partner and i split up in 1999 and i bought the operation back from him a little over 3 years ago. In the back of one of the toolboxes in the trailer i found a payout sheet for 1998 Federal Mougul Racing. Amazing enough it is the same payouts as now. Goes to show some things never change. Dancers still get $1 bills at the bar.

    Good luck on another 15 years!!!
