I have a BA/D with a Roots KB OLDS using B&J 3 speed and 10" 3 disc crower Pedal clutch. 34.5 MT rear tires. 4.56 Rear gear. We have run 4.20s 1/8th Mile. we currently only run 1/8 mile. Changing tune up and or clutch seems to do Very little except shake tires when we hop it up. Does not improve ET. Can anyone with experience with Older Roots TADs that were running mid to lower 6 Sec 1/4 mile let me know what Trans ratios were working for you back in the day?
I do not want to switch to a converter setup. We run heads up index class and it is much more fun to drive the clutch car and I can hit respectable lights.
    Thanks for any input.
