I have a Lenco 3 spd that I am putting air pods on. The trans came with these pods but for the last 10 yrs I have been using lighting rods, I want to go back to the pods. Is there anything I should do to these pods? Any kind of lube to put through them? Maybe take them apart and lube the O-rings? I have always used lightening rods so I have no experience with the pods, any guidance is welcome.

You can use Dow Corning DC-4 if you can get a hold of it or just plain old petroleum jelly on pneumatic system orings.

Guess I should have just popped one apart before posting. Extremely simple cylinder.
    Thanks

Truthfully, in all the years I have been racing I have never done maintenance on a pod and have never had one fail.
