This might be a sily ?. Do you think a set back blower would help on alcohol. Maybe even out the cylinders like fuel. Just a thought.

I would expect to see someone trying it soon . If it helps the distribution to the cylinders and allows the nozzles to be equal I would expect a more efficient and happy running engine .

Since the air exits at the rear of the PSI blower does that mean that we will soon see the set forward style manifold?

So then its probably safe to say that you won't be seeing many Screw blowers with a different style of manifold.

it already has the shortest snount now, you would have to build some bearing support deal off the front of the crankshaft to move out the bottom drive pulley, then idler etc... definetly could be down i suppose,

It may not be easy, but it could be done.

If the goal is to move the blower farther forward it should not be an issue..Yes I know that you use a short snout now but think about you options. 1-move the bottom pulley out and the idler ..ok bearing supports might work.. or why not move the blower out say 6-8 inches use a short belt that drives a shaft with pulleys on the inboard and outboard side..have the bottom pulley drive the inboard pulley which drives the shaft which in turn drives the outboard pulley and then the blower.I am looking at it from the outside looking in. This would move the blower out, but you would have to run 2 belts and 1 of them would be tough to change out ...the other problem is that changing the drive ratio...Which pulley do you have to change...Now I am sure you could figure it out..But i'd pay money to see someone show up with this deal and then have to explain it to Tech.. its out there for an idea but the fabrication to do it is not impossible
