We switched to them and so far they have been absolutely great. The support from Mike at R&R has also been great

Ran many sets of them with no probs until 1 set had the retaining pins in the caps walk out and mark up the crank . Now it's BME .

We ran some in our mini both with the the blower and turbos. Got 30 passes on the last set (turbos). Mike is a pulling sponsor (NTPA). I am going BME this season. JW

the BME ads are impressive. Maybe I run mine too long, but I do run them more than 30 runs.

Mile had a bad long run of the bearing pins falling out of the rods. Hopefully it's fixed but I switched to what the pros run. Mgp! Mikes rods are the cheapiest aluminum rod. But is your engine worth saving $100 on? That's a question you have to ask. And if your gonna run the rod hard for more than 30 laps. Well then.... Lite the wick and see where it expires. Not being negative but a lot of us had the same problem on here.

Regardless of who makes the rods a lot of problems can be created by how the rods are maintained or abused which includes knowing when the rods need to be changed. How many runs, 1/4 mile or 1/8 mile, do you change them if you blow the tires off and hit high rpm, Severe tire shake and detonation really play a big part in the life expectancy. I have seen racers have problems with several brands and nobody else has problems. How often you check bearings and check torque. If the rods bolts are losing torque then you have a problem which is not the rods problem but a problem created somewhere else in the motor.
