image.jpeg Hey guys I bought a bunch of stuff from a guy and the blower to the intake isn't right the blower hangs over the front about 2" and the pie is open. Do I need a new manifold?

No ....... You need a set back plate. Make sure you get one that fits the available snout lengths. The snout you have on it now will not work if it is lined up with a pulley on it with the pulley on the crankshaft. A low budget fix would be to mount the top( blower) pulley backwards, it will work but not like it should. If you are low over drive , low power it may be fine.

If this is a BBC you may have to move the mag to the front of the motor. Use something like a Pioneer mag drive. The delta ( pie ) should be as close to the ccenter of the intake as possible. How long it the bottom opening? Is this a retro HH blower? Or just take a photo of the bottom and post it.

Yeah...... That thing needs to as close to the center of the manifold as possible. Is this a dragster or door car ?

I would warn against using a hi-helix blower like that Hampton with a BDS manifold on a BB Chev. Not very good distribution. Get a Indy or similar manifold.
