    After reading about the tragic motorcycle accident that Duane Shield's son was involved in,we would like to express our heartfelt sympathy for the loss of your son in such a tragic accident yesterday in Henderson.
    Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family.

    Man, I am so sorry for you. I lost my son 15 years ago this week. I can feel your plan. I am so sorry for you. no one should have to lose a child.

    ADAM SHIELDS Adam Garrett Shields was born March 13th, 1990 and went to be with our Lord Jan. 12, 2016. He graduated from Vo-Tech high school in 2008, specializing in welding. Adam was one fun-loving guy. He enjoyed all outdoor activities, especially his off road vehicles. He also loved all animals and would take in any stray that he found. Adam had the kindest spirit and would stop whatever he was doing to help anyone in need. He was truly loved by all and will be deeply missed. He is survived by his parents, Duane and Betsy; his sister, Whitney; grandparents, Tree Shields, Bobbie Shields and Mitzi Verchick; and aunts; uncles; and numerous cousins. His memorial will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22, at St. Andrews Catholic Church, 1399 San Felipe Drive in Boulder City. In lieu of flowers, anyone that would like to help remember Adam, we will be giving donations to Chaparral High School's Cowboy Closet and See Spot Run dog park. Donations can be sent to 7330 Eastgate Road, Suite 120, Henderson, NV 89011. "Thank you and God Bless, the Shields Family."
