In a BBC 11:1 comp, conventional head, 14-71 running 16-18lbs boost. Injected alcohol, of course.

    Currently use 9's

NGK R5671a-10 with that kind of boost. Your -9's would probably do just fine but better to be safe with a -10. The heat range doesn't change your tuneup or how the plugs read.

We ran the -9 last year as well (first year with this setup). 548 BBC, afr 355 CNC heads, 10-71 TBS (16 lbs of boost) and rons dual terminators in a 2015 2100lbs M&M dragster . Maybe switching to a -10 is in order for us....only got 6 passes on this new car trying to shake it down before winter. Our compressi N is a touch lower at 10.6:1 (.58 thick gasket)
