RPM Data Logger - Digital Dash - Shift Light

    If you use the Digital dash that RPM make for their Data Logger, is there a shift light within the system or do you have to have to use a seperate MSD style shift light.

    Are you using a digital mag controller like a MSD Grid 7730 or a 8973?

    The 8973 has two rpm function switches that can supply a ground to a shift light. You have the actual shift light function and you have an rpm switch. Either can be used.

    You can program the display to flash when its time to shift or use the 3 LEDs on the top of the display but im not sure it its any possibility to hook up a external shift light since i have mine hooked up to the MSD grid.

    rpm performance dash

    You can make the dash, flash (the back light) you can make the one of the led lights come on. You can run an external light out of the secondary plug wiring harness. or all of the above. If you need instructions you can go to RPMperf.com or call them 405 495 0454 and they will walk you through it.
    I use one on my TAFC it works great.
