Flow meter

    Just getting ready to plumb my new NFC where is the preferred location for the flow meter by the pump or barrel valve? Thanks

    As Mark says after the barrel valve. The norm to avoid turbelance and make the flow readings more accurate is to have four inches of -10 hose coming out of the BV prior to the flow meter and as much straight line coming out of the flow meter but that is hard. 100% of the fuel going to the motor has to go through the flow meter with no lean outs, or bypasses after the flow meter.

    Does this work with the K type barrel valve?

    Yes, but you have to use the straight out fitting to run to the flow meter then out of the flow meter to a Y fitting to send fuel to the hat and out down to the ports. You can still put a bypass on the lower output of the K valve and cap off the output after the bypass.
