    Hi,

Neil Chance is closed today so I cannot get a hold of them to ask. I have BAE hemi, a Reactor (Yes I know) flex plate, a normal 1/4" mid plate, a quick drive w/ a JW ultra bell and the proper adapter, and I use an aircraft starter so I do not care about the ring gear distance. The problem I am having is my converter is as far back as it can go and I have no clearance between the flex plate and the converter w/ no shims. I need something there for the hub of the converter to sit in. Coan does not make a thin enough adapter for this.

What is everyone using for this application? It was suggested that I buy another flex plate but I do not have an extra $550+ right now. I am going to look into having this one turned down as well.

    Thanks,
    Trevor Sherwood

If you have access to a lathe, problem solved. Most of the time I end up making stuff like that for people. Sometimes it's just easier if you make stuff yourself.

    Trev...
If you send me some dimensions and a little sketch, I can probably fix you up. Just let me know if I can be of any help.

    Adapter

    Hey guys,

I found a local guy with a lathe and had him turn it down from 3/8" thick to 1/8" thick which should give me the 1/8-3/16" clearance that they require so I think we are good now, I will assemble it tonight.

Thanks for all of the help guys,
    Trev
