    Hi,

I am looking into replacing my Reactor flex plates since the service I got was terrible and I cannot find an adapter to make it work with a torque convertor for my application.

I was going to buy one of the DMPE non ring gear flex plates but was told the come apart. I know the original models had that problem and was wondering if it had been fixed.

I also looked at CSR non ring gear but was told that they never ship out the parts, anyone had any recent dealings with them? good or bad product and service?

    I want aluminum for this.

    Thoughts?

    Thanks,
    Trevor Sherwood

The early DMPE flex plates had a problem but the fixed it. We use one and have had no problems. Tried Reactor and had problems. DMPE is real light and the starter ring can be easily repaired because it is in sections.

    Flex plate

Spoke w/ Coan and they sell the Reactor which I won't buy. They did give me some advice on on my clearance problem and I got that fixed but it is looking like we will buy a DMPE or CSR when the new engine goes together.

    Thanks Guys,
    Trev

Eric, we use the ring less DMPE flex plate and never had problems. It is the lightest one available.

My son runs a Meziere in his conventional blown alcohol dragster and I've run a CSR in my ProCharged MFI alcohol dragster for probably the last 10 years (different ones). Nether one has caused one problem, but his cost at least double mine.

    Blessings.............Ron Clevenger
