I have a System One dry sump pump I am installing ---- the 180 bend that is 5 inch CLR won't fit due to the chassis upright location --

How much tighter radius of a fitting can I run there without starving the pump ?

Well I know my Titan pump has a Allen plug inside the pump where the the loop would go. Remove the plug and install flush plugs to run the pump without that clunky loop there. See if you can do the same thing by taking the pump apart and drilling a hole inbetween the two outlets. Should be very easy. Titan uses a 1/4 in pipe plug inside to seperate the two.

Jay - I think what he is talking about is the big U bend coming from the oil tank pick up line back around the pump to the suction side. I think what you are talking about is the smaller jumper hard line from the pressure side of the pick up to the oil feed of the block. I don't think the System One pump is designed in a way you could jump it over with an internal passage.

You would have to consult with them at System 1, but I don't see why you couldn't use a good smooth bore ptfe hose and some fittings to make it fit.

Yes Will that is correct - I am going to use two 92 degree fittings from the RCD plumbing kit that attatch to the oil pan to make one 180 bend ------
