Fuel System Check Valve - Pill in front vs Behind

    I run an Enderle pump with a pump loop similar as shown below:

    I want to take the pill out of the pill holder.Then remove the hard line and replace it with a braided line that has (2) Whitey valves in a manifold. One of the valves would always be open (giving a leanout in high or low gear). But, this would put the pill in the whitey manifold behind the check valve instead of in front of it. Is there a problem with the pill being behind the check valve?

    Thanks. The goal is to have a high gear lean out using the pump loop pill. Start with an 80 and once I shift, it would close the 80 and open an 89 (example).
