Carb size

    I am building a 557 ford with a 871 blower on alcohol what size carb do I need

    Be careful, blown alcohol motors take a lot of fuel flow and sometimes it is difficult to do it with single carb. This applies to the whole fuel system as well.

    Carb on Alcohol

    The fact that an alcohol motor, especially a blown motor, uses a lot of fuel, it would make me wonder about supplementing the fuel to each cylinder with some sort of low psi fuel injector on each manifold runner, unless some rule makes that not possible. Seems like it would make tuning each cylinder a little easier. Maybe you are already doing that. Just throwing that idea out there. Oh, I bet I am fixing to catch some flak now.
