Wetsump oilpump

    What is the best oil pump to a blown BBC with wet sump that you can buy for the money. Or what is best when the budget controls.

    Pressure

    Looked at systen1 pumps. Since they have adjustable pressure, I wonder what is the correct pressure

    We've Ran the billet pump for years. They are about $680. They are out of them until around April. I got lucky and found a new one on racing junk for our spare engine a few weeks ago for $450.

    I have a Titan billet professional Oil pump for sale it has the extra large volume upgrade. They are $1000 new with extra large volume upgrade. Im selling it for $600 Plus the ride. I think titan makes the best wet sump pump I have pictures on racing junk Ad # 182373599. Let me know its a great pump

    I would guess the Titan is a Gerotor and the System 1 is a gear ?

    System 1 great service. They will set the oil pressure you want from factory.

    I known the titan is a gerotor but not sure about the system one

    System One is a GEAR pump which does not cavitate like the gerotor pump

    Ok System 1 produces the best pump, but they are out of stock. Which
    pump is then the next best.

    we ran a cast titan sportsman pump on a bunch of chevys with the final version screwblown and 9000rpm. It had a high pressure spring and the drive was all hex shaft.
    I think it was a pretty good product.

    I started running external pumps about 15 years ago and never looked back. Getting the oil pump out of the pan allows a better pan to be made and a full tray above the oil to keep it from aerating as much from windage. It also allows a way to drop the belt and spin pump with drill to preoil engine before first start up with heated up oil. It also gets the oil pump off of the camshaft and has never caused me one issue in the last 15 years. Personally, I really like it.

    I started with the Moroso external pump 15 years ago on mine and have stuck with it without one issue. On my son's blown alcohol we run a Peterson external pump on it and not one issue ether.
