Im considering buying new batteries for this year to lose some weight. Currently im starting my 526 cu in with hi helix 14-71 through 24v with 2 yellow top optima batteries that weigh about 43 lbs a piece. ive heard the rock racing batteries are good. But I have found a lithium battery I believe it is and am curious to know if anyone has tried these. They are called Antigravity is the maker of them

any info and opinions would be greatly appreciated

I use one of the 16 volt batteries to run the electronics. Never tried to start with one though. I have two big advance auto 12 volts wired to 24 volts on the golf cart to jump car with.

What kind of 16v battery do you run? And why a 16 and not a 12v for the electronics? I dont wanna deal with the golf cart next to the car. And as for a blower car i think i may run more power tha n a dragster or funny car since i run top sportsman with electric shocks delay box along with everything else

I am actually an antigravity battery dealer. Their batteries are all Lithium and work awesome. A couple of 12 or 16 cell batteries should work for you. If your interested let me know, I can probably save you a little. The biggest trick to any Lithium battery is keeping it charged.

Antigravity 16 volt. I like the 16 volt for the electronics, even discharged it has more than 12 volts plus when I had an electric shifter it hit it harder. I tow the car around so the golf cart is already there anyway. May end up mounting a second batt in the gas golf cart and using its batts to jump the car and lose the batt pack on the back.

in top sportsman its possible we have as little as 30 minute turnaround times in later rounds of the day. would this be enough time to get recharged for the next round?

30 minutes is enough time. They are great for short burst and higher amp draws.
