**** This is just for the purpose of discussion***** PDRA is not considering this class at the moment.

Without getting into a long drawn out post on exact rules, if PDRA were to create a class similar to the old Pro Comp, who would be interested in running it?

For those of you not familiar with PDRA, it's the old ADRL. They run 1/8 mile, track prep is killer and usually have a good crowd. Two day races, Friday and Saturday for the most part.

The class would be heads up with the target in the 3.60-3.70 range

    B/AD screw 88 over - 2050 min
    TA/FC 92 over - 2300 min
    TA Altered 92 over - 2200 min
    A/FD - 93% nitro
    AF/FC - ??
    AF/Altered ??

Allow current Pro Outlaw type cars in their current configuration.

    $5,000 win
    $2,500 R/U
    $1,750 semi
    $1,500 quarter
    $1,000 qualify (16)

Ten races. They currently race Dallas, Rockingham, Shreveport, St. Louis, Martin, Budds Creek, Memphis, Benson NC (GALOT), Bradenton and Virginia.

Is this something you as a racer would have any interest in?

Will, did you have too much coffee this morning?...

    A/F altereds/FC?... Something new/different/fun?

An extra place in the Southeast to race an already existing alcohol car?

A decent paying purse in front of a real crowd?

It makes too much sense. No one will support it.

It would be fun to race a variety of cars as long as the adjustments keep it close for the fans between the different types of cars (long or short)

We'd give it a go for sure!!!!

I would definitely be interested in something like that. The only thing that I get butt hurt over is that an altered has to weigh 150 lbs more than a dragster?? I have no idea how that would be even, but that's a whole different topic

If this came to be or exist our team would have interest in participating. We like the quick 8 racing and this would be a great way to be able to run our clutch combination and get a chance to run against those other quick 8 cars.
