msd no longer services 10 plus. HELP!

Called all mentioned and no dice. So when it does go bad I guess I will be moving to something else. Was just trying to be proactive. Will probably do some testing with the 7720 that I have. Seen some blowers in TD running 630s with them. That's what I run. The energy is like a 1/3 of 10 but it's working for others. We'll give it a try in Qual shot and see what the difference is.

Really a bummer that MSD dropped this. I ran both the old and new. Took less power to run than the 8 and would fire just about everything. Only went to the Mag 44 because they stopped making the 10. If not, I'd still be using it. Good luck with whatever decision you make.

 

that msd 10 has not been built since 2003. over 10 years ago.....and no, no other coil will work ( the 8208 coil was last produced two years ago)..

 

A MSD 10 Plus box just popped up on eBay.

Just a dumb question but I think about everyone updates them to a 20, I think that Spud has that service on his site. Randy

 

no that upgrade is for msd12 amp mag upgrade to 20 amp...

 

Stay Far Far away from BR Motorsports

Sent my components in to BR for routine check. All components had run perfect at Finals in Pomona.

Sent in original boxes labeled very nice. All components came back in just bubble wrap.

Now most components do not work at all. MSD Trailer says they are dead!!

When I asked BR why the original boxes weren't used....no answer, not "no" answer, no one "had" an answer???? They did find them later and ship them to me.

Had to install all new ignition components at Gainesville.

Send your stuff to electrimotion or Wyman at System one. This BR Motorsports thing is not a top shelf deal. It sound like after Bob left no one knows what's gong on.

I got bit because shipping to electrimotion took too long. Send it to people you see and trust at the the Drag Strip!!....

Also, if it works...don't ship it to anyone. Run it! You can see in the run data if it's not working right.

..... and remember your mileage may vary....

I had a fire and my MSD 10 got fried . I now have gone to a coil on plug system for my Turbo Hemi . Carl Stevens runs coil on plug on his promod that goes 5.80's and 258 MPH . The Mag is not the only option .

they are the coil and coupler style. complete with wire harness.
