Curious what the fuel pressure looks like in the burnout. Say 6500 rpm with the blades barely open. Would port/hat pressure be the same as wide open throttle 6500 rpm? Thinking no due to barrel valve barely being open.

    psi

I don't record data in the burnout but I know when you shut the throttle off at the topend it makes a crazy pressure spike.
I stage with the blades cracked and 4300 rpm and it makes over 100 psi.
I read pressure from the top of the pump. I think serious data setups read port and hat pressure after the barrel valve to see what the engine is actually getting.

Thanks micah, after thinking about it there's no solid answer. Totally dependent on how much the barrel valve is open then compared to your total area going into the motor.

I normally adjust fuel pressure so it is around 138-140 psi at 8000 rpm in first gear.
