Top Fuel Downforce?

    I've never seen any actual numbers on this, and I was curious if anyone has some rough ballpark numbers to put a frame work around this topic????

    Just how much downforce is the rear wing of a TF dragster generating, and how does that vary with speed? Same question for a TF funny.

    I would imagine it's got to be quite a bit! Wonder if anyone has instrumented this, or has extrapolated from wind tunnel testing? I bet there must be quite a concern if the wind of the day happens to be at cross or perpendicular angle to the track??

    As always, any feedback would be appreciated either on or off line.

    call mageria. he has tested all his wings, and knows at what angle they produce. he likes to talk a lot btw.

    I was told by Bobby/ Dominic Leagana SP ? up to 10'000 # @ speed
