Seems like I'm having some issues lately. All our parts are old and beat up (I'm sure that has nothing to do with it!) and we really don't know the history on these parts but we broke two a couple of weeks ago (separate runs and different cylinders). Ran a 7.16 on 7 cyls and broke one on the next burnout (looking for that 6 sec pass).

Don't know the history of these engines very well either. I have the purple stands and run the old iron rockers. What's the difference with the black stands (I think there are others like "Clear"?). Is the same intake rocker used on all the different color stands?

Do these old design rockers have a history of breaking? (No I don't have enough coin for the roller ones...)

I've seen on some other forums a guy in WA is machining custom rockers.

    TIA

We don't run Arias but we run against them.

A couple years ago one of those guys was telling me that he broke a couple (I think intake rockers?) and Bob Minor told him he would continue to break those until he went away from them and to whatever Bob was recommending, so he did and has not had troubles since.

I know I'm vague, but yes I've heard of what appears to be the same thing you're experiencing and Bob Minor knew of the fix.
