    Mounting bolts

actually there was 2 - 1/2 bolts holding it on. In the still pictures you can see that. bolts from bracket on gear box to back of clutch can. then the front has one pivot bolt in it. If you watch the face book video it is in slow motion, you can see the back of the motor come loose then twist around by the front and break off.

Do you think it can be turned around in 75 minutes?

    turn around

not a lot more if need be.
    motors were not hurt.
broke the weld on the cross box mount to frame
stripped the nuts on the back of the clutch cans that hold the motors on.
New nuts in cans, put ends back on any lines that pulled off.
far less damage than a car scraping the wall.
    Just looked REALLY bad

Track workers actually had all four motors in the back of separate pickup trucks and the bare chassis off the track in about 20 minutes. It was eventful to have that running hemi dancing on the ground at wot before it ran out of fuel. Word is that it will be repaired/reassembled in a short time frame (if they decide to finish the season). JW
