M/T Tires 3195 or??

Hi Guys,

Running a TD, 6.00 @ 235. Need tires. I was using GY 1022 which worked great but are used up, tried the GY 2922 this past weekend.
I broke more stuff from tire shake than I have EVER done. I tried 5 1/2 (shook the worst), 6, and 6 1/4 (basically blew the tires off), nothing worked.
So I'm going to try M/T's.
I was told by MT that they had goodluck with the 3195 (35 x 15) tire. Lots of guys use/like them.

Anyone have any experience with these (3195), or should I just try a MT 34.5 x 17?

Yeah, That's what I thought.

I can't seem to find anyone that runs them.

 

I'm thinking of ordering a set of 35-15-16 for my altered but was wondering the same thing

 

I have a 1900 HP blown SBC dragster an I use too run the Hoosier 34.5 17 16 an switch too the M/T 34 13.5 16 an on my second season with them an I love them I've been 3.98 with them in the 1/8 .938 60 ft another guy I run with he runs a set an been a 3.78 in the 1/8 with them he runs a blown big block Mopar . David Hance runs the 35 15 17 M/T he goes 5.80s in the 1/4 so either one is a great tire you won't be disappointed

ive run both bubbas (35) and 34.5 mt tires. 35 are quicker on 1/8 but 34.5 are better on slick tracks. make sure you get roll out matched up. i've had problems with missed matched tires. no shaking with either tire as fast as 5.90s in 1/4 and 3.80s in 1/8 with blower.

Your story is a carbon copy of our experience with the Goodyears , we run the 34.5x17 now , there awesome 6.00 -234 and will hook anywhere !

 

I'm hearing that the MT 3195 is being discontinued and the MT 1930 is replacement.?????????????????
