enderle 80 pump fuel pressure ?

    does anyone know what the amount of fuel pressure from and enderle 80 pump should be making ? idle or otherwise ? max, min ? i think my pump may be laying down ..and wondering easy way to check ..

    The pressure of a pump when installed on a car is dependent on engine RPM and total orifice size. You can raise the pressure by decreasing the total orifice size. I like seeing sound 130 psi at 8000 rpm in first gear measured before the BV. Even if everything is good you probably will not see much pressure at idle. What are you seeing at 8000 in first gear when measure before the BV.

    i have no idea ... never put a gauge on it.. much less able to read at 8000... i twist off at 6600... stock bbc..

    Like Mike said if you don't know what the pressure was at X rpm asking for a magic number is meaningless.

    Your problem, whatever it may be, is likely elsewhere..but...if you find yourself continually richening the main more and more to keep the tune where it was then it's likely time for a pump rebuild.
