On your typical 3k hp Blown Alcohol car you always see the fuel cell in the front and that's where mine is. I know they make a cable drive deal that allows you to mount the fuel pump and cell in the back. Will it work on big HP deals? seems you could mount the cell and pump in back and run a #10 to the front to feed the hat, lean outs, silinoids etc..... Has anybody done this successfully? would the gravity created by the rapid acceleration make this impossible?

It would sure be nice to move 70 lbs to the rear directly off the nose.

No way ! The g forces alone pumping fuel forward on a 2.5-3 g launch . I see major problems in that. Isn't this a promod car you have ?

    tank size

How big of a tank do you have now? Methanol is 6.6 lbs per gallon. You should be able to get away with 5-6 gallons for 1/8 mile roots deal.
