What kind of airflow/power difference would I see between these two heads? 4.310 bore 4.5 stroke on both?

    Thanks guys and gals

    Difference

From what I have seen you may pick up around around a tenth between the old fuel heads and a set of Fathead 5's in the 1/8th mile.

The Veney and fuel stuff won't rpm as high do to the increased piston weight. The newer Veney alcohol stuff doesn't need to rpm quite as high to run good. Your ignition timing curb will be smaller on the fathead as well. Generally speaking 26 degrees is a good number on the fatheads. I believe the old fuel head stuff was like 30-32 or so if I recall correctly. The fuel head stuff does run good especially in the eight mile and can be bought cheap. The fathead are the current alcohol setup and going to them now would make it way easier to upgrade in the future as most of the parts are interchangeable in the fathead series.

    Hope this helps a bit,

Do you know where I can score some spare fuel stuff? I was working on a deal with a great guy on that visits here and was going to get into the fathead world. I misunderstood pricing and can't get to the $$ amount needed for fathead conversion.
