Oil seeping past blower snout bolts.

I have a Kuhl blower. Front cover threaded holes are through holes into the cover. maybe they all are? Is there a recommended sealers to use on the bolt threads to keep the front gear oil from leaking past the threads? I don't really want something contaminating the oil in the cover.

I just use the same gray silicone I use for my other gaskets. I roll the bolt threads and washer in the silicone and install. Hasn't leaked yet.

when we do blowers we always use silicon on the threads..Dave
