    I have a two speed powerglide transmission with air shifter. Will the shift light rpm feature in the 8973 shift the car or do I need to wire up some other rpm activated switch?

    You can do it with the shift light output or the RPM switch wire Brown/white. Run it through a relay and will work fine.

    Thanks. What type of relay would' be best? There is an orange and yellow wire for the shift light . Is that not the wire?

    The Orange and Yellow wire is the one you want. It gives you ground when energized. Use a Bosch type black cube 30 amp relay and you will be good to go.
