Has anyone switched from Hoosiers to Goodyears 34.5s on a Pro Mod and what were the results.
    Thanks Bruce

I heard they had more initial bite in the begining. Stiffer wide wall so you could get after it harder. But I heard they also fall off harder. Meaning the tune will change drastically. But I haven't heard anyone really back this up with facts. So I'm curious as well.

If you are using beadlocks, I wouldn't do it, recipe for tire shake. Other than that, I find the Good Years have a very narrow tuning window, I much prefer the Hoosiers

I am going to try there AFC compound next week with Beadlocks on my rear engine dragster. Have been running Hoosiers with liners, worked fine, but the Beadlocks will save me appox 15 lbs for the pair. A friend of mine has run them with good success and has been as quick as 3.69 I believe. There is an AFC racer on the west coast that ran them last year with good results ... Or so I've heard. I'll post up my experience with these after next weekends PDRA race at rockingham. I'll have my liners with me just in case.
