Has anybody got a cam tag / info on a Crane Cam Part # 664692. Grind # R296-4778-25R. This is in a KB that I've bought & run but after my winter 'freshen up' would like to set it up correctly.
Please respond here or better e-mail me a copy of a cam card / tag.

Hello Mark, there should be some more numbers following the "2SR", probably marked below what you've indicated. Somethiing like "-14XBB 48D". Let me know and we'll furnish the specs. Regards, Chase

    Cam Tag

The etched numbers are barely visible but it reads R296 4778 2S 14-16 Crane then 664692.
    Thanks Chase

This is Crane part number 66R000193. It's for a Chrysler 426 hemi with standard size bearing journals, standard 45 degree lifter bank angle, and standard firing order. Recommended hot valve lash is .026" on intake and exhaust. Lobe lift is .4778" intake, .500" exhaust, resulting in gross valve lift figures of .750" intake and .760" exhaust with the standard 1.57:1 intake and 1.52:1 exhaust rocker arms. The duration at .050 tappet lift is 296 degrees intake, and 292 degrees exhaust. Cam timing at .050" is: intake opens 37 degrees BTDC, intake closes 79 degrees ABDC, exhaust opens 85 degrees BBDC, exhaust closes 27 degrees ATDC. The lobe separation angle is 116 degrees. The 664692 indicates this is for a 426 Hemi, and was ground on the 46th week of 1992. I could send you a spec card, if you would forward your email address. Regards, Chase
