Tapping Threads In Titanium

    I am needing to tap some threads into an item made of titanium. It currently has a hole that is tapped however I need to make it bigger.. 3/8 going to 7/16. I've done this in any other material many many times but never titanium. Any pointers? Any dos or do nots? Any help/pointers would be appreciated thank you

    You have your work cut out for you here. I've been threading titanium bolts this week and doing anything with Time is a chore. My best suggestion is to go slowly and back up often with plenty of lubricant. Good luck
