Pilot Bearing

    what is the best pilot bearing set-up to use in the back of a chevy crank spinning a crower clutch with a lenco inputshaft (1-3/8 x 10spline)

    I'd put the one in the flywheel, not the crank

    I machined the back of my crank for a common sized bearing, I can't quite remember which bearing number I used but I found a bearing that fit the input shaft size and just machined the crank a little larger to fit it.

    I use a crower clutch as well and using a bearing in the flywheel would work well also, you just may need another input because it will be shorter, IMO its up to you how you want to do it.

    I like the standard pilot bearing that goes in the flywheel from Crower.....I just think its a better deal to run it in the flywheel. just my opinion
