Do l need a balancer

Hi guy l am taking the blower off my KB and fitting a ram with a bird hat (alky) to run in Comp here in Oz , should l run a harmonic balancer on it if so what one should l use ? Also I am going to use a crank starter the same as used on A/Fuel motors so where would be the best place to get the parts l need to do this ?(l already have a starter from my blown motor)

Balancer yes

personally YES, ive found romac very nice, the ali / steel or better still one with a titanium centre hub to it would be better - anti gualling feature.

 

Do you know the part no as Romac is now closed might be able to track one down , l was thinking of maybe using an ATI
