Conventual Ring sets vs Gapless Ring sets

Can anyone give me their experience with high boost hemi fatheads motors 9000rpms and up, 50#s and up, running gapless rings or does it work OK? The ring companies still want everyone to change and many do run them, but some of the faster cars that I know still run the basic ring packages with wider end gaps. I have my motor down now servicing it for next year and just wanted some experiences here. THANKS! Jim

 

You might experience the top ring flutter with a gapless second
most every one I know runs conventional rings with .030 ++ gap

 

Went from gapless to conventional many years ago and the oil is much less diluted from my experiences . Awesome leak down with gapless rings though if that is what you are after .
