Again, my motor is down for service and some friends and businesses are pushing or selling the friction coatings for the sides of the pistons and the heat coatings for the piston tops. Anyone want to give any experiences here, good or bad, Blown screw fathead hemi. THANKS! Jim

Order annodized pistons , I tried the coating they don't hold up on a hemi , my Chevy would hold up about 1/2 a season. My hemi ones would make it about ten runs. Not worth it.

Jim , I was recently told buy a fellow racer that I should coat my stuff too!
He was telling me that after coating his pistons he now gets a whole season on them.
His advise sounded great other than the fact that I just changed my uncoated pistons that had 6 seasons on them!
If your tune up is happy you don't hurt parts , if you have your stuff set on meltdown it won't help if you have everything cryo tempered and coated with unobtainium !
