Methanol Boost Tolerance

I know that in many cases the rules dictate the allowable hardware and overdrive ratios, and in turn this imparts an artificial ceiling upon how much "boost" a person can generate.

Assuming there were no rules (outlaw), and assuming the motor was physically up to the task, how much boost could alky tolerate when pushed to the limit?

Obviously the answer to the above will depend upon a LOT of variables, but just how far have people pushed alky when allowed to do so? Thanks.

 

I have been told the PSI Gizzmo will make 80psi .. when it was tested on a DragBoat i dont know anything else but thats enough boost to send parts to mexico if something bad was a happen

 

What is a "Gizmo"?....
