Polishing of BAE Mag valve covers

    Whats a good way and product to use to polish up the valve covers on BAE Mag valve covers, what do you guys use.

    Tried it

    We polished a mag manifold before and after we got it done it looked great then as time (2 weeks) went by it turned back to the same old brownish color it was to start with. So not sure about the valve covers but I think it may be a waste of your time. Good luck not sure what we used to polish it with it has been ten years.

    Sand and paint them!!! lol. We tried several times to polish and keep looking good,,,,,, as stated before,,,, 2 weeks they looked crappy again.

    Just my 2 cents

    dowel coat them it looks good for a long time and also helps on corrosion alcohol eats up mag..Dave

    Polish them, then Dow 7 coat .

    Have any recommendation for DOW 7 Coating? Who have you guys used?

    rbs took care of a mag PSI injector for me:they had it polished and DOW 7 coated:awesome finish.
    read about GIBBS brand products,it is used to protect vintage mag wheels and other mag based parts,not sure if the polished finish stays that way though...
