    1-powermist
has any one been fast with this alcohol
i see they have several different blends
please let me know what blend your useing

2-vp m5 when should i change to this

3-vp m1 when should i change to this

4- ive always used industrial alcohol 125.00 barrell

will switching to say m5 give me a bigger tuning window with out detonation and result in more power achieved
(with m5 do you have to change much comp/fuel gpm/timing)

we run a car with no rules 3.70 1/8 mile bae screw brad 5s 10200rpm
im looking to pickup et and reliability without changing 3 engines

thanks for any input or experiences

    alky

M5 requires more gpm due to oxygen content. The only person i've discussed it with was Clark bros so I assume Pesz knows all the benefits.
From what I recall it was win/win on every front for an outlaw combo unless you care about the cost.
We ran industrial methanol for years and switched to Sunoco alky for the hemi. You know how much we gained there..lol

    methanol

My train of thought has always been in heads up application to go with a sealed drum of VP.

VP and Powermist claim to have very few transfers from original process distilling and to the drum. Methanol readily gains water, so the more times it is exposed to the elements, the more water it is going to pick up.

When I used to run industrial methanol in my bracket car, the fuel filter would look like hell after a few races.

I can't quantify what or how much horsepower it's worth to go from VP to Industrial, and that's all relative to how clean the drum you get is from the industrial source. As much as grains of water affects ET, I don't want to add any more to it with the fuel. Some would say that's nitpicking, but heads up, you're playing a game of thousandths of a second.

I have no experience with M5 or the Powermist additives. I'm told Brandon Booher has extensive experience with Powermist additives, he might be a good source of information on that.
