So switching over to the r980 has me wondering. Do i keep my old bust panel in manifold plus the new one in the blower. Or is one of them normally blocked off?

    Both panels kept and used

Sune, this is Jim in TN and I kept both panels and run them both for extra protection, but some do run one only. THANKS! Jim

Sune the reason for the burst panel in the blower is the blower is internally pressurized. Use both panels. There can be a explosion in the blower and it needs a relief. Whipple Superchargers is local to me.
