I run a wet sump BBC and use a Moroso billet gear rotor pump@115psi,accumulator with 60wt Valvoline or Penzoil with good luck in 150+ passes on that setup.I've never ran synthetic. I don't have much ground clearance and we an onboard starter so my oil pan is a little small so that's why we run a 3 quart accumulator.

We ran chevys for years mostly big chief KB olds.
12 qts of synethetic is mandatory. It will survive the foamy wetsump better. We use redline 60wt.
We ran a Titan pump, 3 qt accumulator on top of the 12 qts and closely restricted oil to the top.
-10 hoses returning from each head.
This might not all be required for 7800 rpm but it put us in the 3.90s at 2650lbs.

I still have the accumulator, brackets and a oberg filter for sale. 200 for all of it.

    I ran a 510ci Donovan with Big Chief heads. Wet sump , Titan pump , oil accumulator . 60wt Lucas , 120psi.

    Very pleased with Lucas.

We used the System1 filter , and drain backs.

    Buy it from Jegs,
Call and ask for LUCAS Oil only, 50 or 60 wt will be perfect for your application.

    Best value and best oil

    You will not regret it.
