Hey all... Looking for a little input/advice... I'm running a blown alcohol (for now) altered. I'm using a Mallory MagIII and the Mallory red wires with the jackets (I believe 8+mm and solid copper) and I'm running a autometer shift light tach with an autometer tach converter. Works fine to tune the car... but under power... the tach and shift light are worthless, they go crazy. Put 10.4mm Taylor wires on it... tach works great now but it dramatically de-tuned the motor... took all the heat out of the motor. Really suprised me that it made THAT big a difference. What are some of you guys doing for wires, tach, etc? thanks... sean

We hade problems with the tach and lite too. Changed to MSD pro wires and put the pick-ups for the tach and lite in a small metal box to shield them RFI . End problem , and the car ran as good as with solid wires .
