There is no way an ADRL PX car could go a quarter mile. The Chassis would probably come apart as would the motor even with different gears.

    5.706 by Dan Nickelson.

5.50's isnt going to be "that" easy. Gotta go 5.60's first.

On Dan Nickelson's 5.70 I estimate his car lost .02 to .03 on the run because it was spinning the tires from half track to the finish line when he got it out of the grove. You can see it on the YouTube video. The driveshaft speed on his computer from half track on was pretty ugly.

By the "weigh," Dan's car was about 2,500 pounds when he ran it.

They wouldn't run their P/X in 1/4.. They might actually have to work on them beyond welding chassis bits back together every lap and messing with their timing maps. ;)

We ran our car to 3.632 @ 211.06 to the 1/8 clicked it off at 4.22 sec. and went 5.870 @ 163.42 in the 1/4. If we change the rear gear and put a bigger fuel cell and leave the two speed, who knows.

Probably had a 5.70 there if the chutes were not collecting air!
